Varsity baseball kept rolling Tuesday evening with a 8-5 victory over a highly touted St. Pius team. The game got off to a quick start, with the Warriors trailing 4-3 after 1 inning. From there, starting pitcher Senior Caleb Sanders settled in and tossed 5 scoreless innings. Senior Brad Schram pitched the 7th, picking up his third save of the season. Offensively Brad Schram had 2 hits, including his 3rd home run in his last two games. Senior Cannon Kobylski went 2-4 as well. In the field, Sophomore Andrew Hedgecorth and Junior Chester Brooks made multiple great plays up the middle at SS and 2B to keep St. Pius at bay. The Warriors are back at home Friday at 4pm vs the Harrisonville Wildcats.
